RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to support Processing, Guidance, & Controls. On-site role with possible travel, developing and validating control algorithms for autonomous systems and building dynamic models to improve performance.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering, proficiency in MATLAB/Python/C/C++, and eligibility for Interim Secret clearance. US citizenship is required.

Formación

• Typically requires a degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related STEM field with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
• Experience with guidance, navigation, and control (GNC) systems, navigation sensors, state estimation or perception systems.
• Proficiency with MATLAB, Python, C, C++, and/or Object-Oriented design.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, simulate, and evaluate control and navigation algorithms for autonomous systems; apply model-based design, simulation, and test data to improve performance.
• Build and use dynamic system models and simulations to evaluate behavior, conduct design trades and reduce test cycles.
• Analyze test data to evaluate performance, identify issues, and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, software, systems, and test teams to integrate and validate complex systems.
• Experience developing algorithms, system models, simulation tools, controls, or signal processing for complex products.
