Job summary

RTX in Massachusetts is seeking a Senior Systems Security Engineer (P3) to join our on-site SSE team in Woburn, MA, delivering security solutions for embedded weapons systems and protecting Warfighter technology advantages.

You will work across cyber security, software assurance, and supply chain risk management, collaborating with customers and program teams to define requirements, architectures, and risk-based mitigations.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience
• Active and transferable U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
• Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, anti-tamper, cybersecurity, program protection, or embedded security

Responsibilities

• Interact with the customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectiveness
• Support compliance with National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Risk Management Framework (RMF) controls
• Consult and assist program management with SSE architecture and issues
• Support the development of bids and proposals
• Support security development and test efforts implementation of security controls of networking devices, databases, operating systems, and hardware and software component
• Integrate cybersecurity development activities
