Job summary

Blue Shield of California seeks a Strategic Planning and Performance, Principal to drive the P&E annual plans, financials, and performance reporting. You will partner with Finance, HR, Analytics and Talent Acquisition to align initiatives with enterprise goals and mitigate risks.

You will lead cross-functional programs, develop the technology roadmap with platform partners, and craft executive-ready dashboards and presentations for senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Requires at least 10 years of prior relevant experience in program and project management, financial and budget management, and senior leadership communication.
• Ability to operate autonomously with limited oversight and think strategically.
• Strong content creation for diverse audiences (PowerPoint decks, dashboards).
• Experience with change management principles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate development of P&E’s annual functional plans cascading enterprise strategies into goals.
• Develop and manage P&E’s technology roadmap, including AI capabilities.
• Lead executive-level reporting of the portfolio of initiatives and KPIs to ensure alignment with strategy.
• Create and maintain platforms for reporting on functional plan performance.
• Build visuals, dashboards and reports to anticipate challenges and resource needs.
• Oversee budget planning and forecasting with Finance partners.
• Provide recommendations to senior management on critical issues.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration with Finance, HRBP, Analytics, Talent Acquisition and leadership.
