Job summary

Blue Shield of CA seeks a Strategic Planning and Performance Principal to oversee enterprise growth strategy, governance, and execution. You will coordinate across markets and business units, implement structured governance, and ensure alignment with priorities and outcomes.

The role requires executive-level communication, sophisticated PowerPoint storytelling, and the ability to turn complex data into clear recommendations for senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree or High School Diploma/GED and 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience supporting executive-level governance forums (e.g., MQBRs, senior leadership reviews).
• Requires strong strategic planning, portfolio management, and prioritization expertise.
• Requires experience working in payer/provider or healthcare growth strategy environments.
• Demonstrated executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and impactful executive-ready PowerPoint presentations; proficiency in Excel for data management, analysis, reporting, and decision support.
• Ability to influence across senior leadership and drive enterprise-level alignment is desired.
