Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Strategic Planning and Performance Principal to join the Office of Growth. This role will guide enterprise-wide growth strategy execution, establish governance, and drive transparency of priorities and risks across senior leadership forums.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in strategic planning and executive governance, with strong communication and data analysis skills to support decision making at the highest level.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or High School Diploma/GED with 4 years of additional relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires experience supporting executive-level governance forums (e.g., MQBRs, senior leadership reviews).
• Requires strong strategic planning, portfolio management, and prioritization expertise.
• Requires experience in payer/provider or healthcare growth strategy environments.
• Demonstrated executive-level communication and presentation skills; proficiency in Excel for data management, reporting, and decision support.
