Job summary

Blue Shield of CA is seeking a Strategic Planning and Performance Principal within the Office of Growth to drive enterprise-wide growth strategy execution across markets and lines of business.

You will establish structured governance, lead strategic planning processes, and ensure transparency of priorities, risks, and outcomes across senior leadership forums. The role emphasizes executive communication and cross-functional collaboration in a healthcare payer/provider environment.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree or GED with 4 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 10 years of prior relevant experience.
• Requires experience supporting executive-level governance forums (e.g., MQBRs, senior leadership reviews).
• Requires strong strategic planning, portfolio management, and prioritization expertise.
• Requires experience working in payer/provider or healthcare growth strategy environments.
• Requires demonstrated executive-level communication and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear, concise, and impactful executive-ready PowerPoint presentations; proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to influence across senior leadership and drive enterprise-level alignment is desired.
