Job summary

CVS Health's Signify Health Strategy & Innovation team seeks a Principal Decision Scientist to design and build causal inference studies quantifying member outcomes and to size opportunities for growth. You will collaborate across Signify with data professionals to standardize pipelines, and present analyses directly to the ELT, driving strategic decisions.

This role demands a strong leadership presence and expertise in healthcare analytics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in Decision Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or related field with ownership of complex analytical problems.
• Expert SQL and Python skills with experience analyzing large datasets and applying statistical methods.
• Strong statistics and advanced analytics expertise including hypothesis testing, regression, and experimental design.
• Experience with causal inference and impact measurement to evaluate programs.
• Healthcare/payer data experience with claims, enrollment, utilization, or similar datasets.
• Executive communication skills to translate complex analyses for senior stakeholders.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and data engineering basics.
• Ability to develop reusable analytical assets and improve best practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and validate causal inference studies to quantify member outcomes.
• Conduct sizing analyses for new growth opportunities and partnerships.
• Collaborate with Signify's data professionals to standardize pipelines and data models.
• Present findings to Signify's ELT and executive leadership as workstream lead or contributor.
