Job summary

CVS Health, through its Signify Health Strategy & Innovation team, seeks a Principal Decision Scientist to lead causal inference studies that underpin strategic recommendations. You will design sizing analyses for growth opportunities and collaborate across functions to ensure rigorous analytics and reusable assets.

The role requires strong SQL/Python, healthcare data experience, and executive-level communication.

Qualifications

10+ years in decision science or related quantitative field with ownership of complex analytical problems.
Expert SQL and Python skills with large, complex datasets.
Strong applied statistics, including hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design, and predictive modeling.
Experience with causal inference and impact measurement of programs or decisions.
Healthcare/payer data experience with claims, enrollment, utilization, or related datasets.
Executive communication to translate analyses into actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Lead deep statistical studies to prove outcomes and inform strategy.
Design, build, and validate causal inference studies for member outcomes.
Collaborate across Signify/ CVS teams to standardize data, code reviews, and analytics assets.
Present analysis to CVS/ELT and executive leadership, influencing strategic decisions.
