CVS Health's Signify Health Strategy & Innovation team seeks a Principal Decision Scientist to design and implement causal inference studies, sizing analyses, and strategic analytics. You will lead expert-level quantitative work, collaborate with executives, and improve analytics standards across the organization.

The role emphasizes deep statistical work, cross-functional collaboration, and the delivery of actionable insights to guide growth opportunities and clinical outcomes enhancements.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Decision Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or related field.
• Expert SQL and strong Python skills; large datasets; statistical analysis, modeling, automation, visualization.
• Strong applied statistics and advanced analytics; hypothesis testing, regression, experimental design, predictive modeling.
• Experience with causal inference and impact measurement to evaluate programs and decisions.
• Healthcare/payer data expertise with claims, enrollment, utilization, or other member-level datasets.
• Executive communication skills to translate problems into structured analytical approaches and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and relational/NoSQL databases.
• Experience establishing analytics best practices and reusable assets.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain causal inference studies quantifying member outcomes.
• Lead analytics for strategic growth evaluations and sizing of new products/partnership opportunities.
• Collaborate across Signify/CVS teams to standardize data models, pipelines, and code reviews.
• Present analyses to executive leadership and act as a technical mentor to analytics staff.
