Job summary

CVS Health Corporation’s Signify Health Strategy & Innovation team seeks a Principal Decision Scientist to lead causal inference studies, size growth opportunities, and collaborate across business functions. You will partner with executive leadership to translate complex questions into rigorous analyses and measurable recommendations.

The role requires 10+ years in quantitative analytics, expert SQL/Python, and healthcare data experience, with strong communication skills and cloud data platform

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Decision Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• Expert SQL and strong Python skills with large datasets.
• Strong applied statistics and advanced analytics expertise.
• Experience with causal inference and impact measurement.
• Healthcare/payer data expertise including claims/enrollment/utilization.
• Executive communication and influence in a matrixed environment.
• Experience with Snowflake and cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Knowledge of ETL/ELT and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience establishing analytics best practices and reusable assets.
• Executive presence and clear written communication.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain causal inference studies quantifying member-level outcomes.
• Translate business questions into structured analytical approaches and growth sizings.
• Collaborate across Signify's functions and present analyses to ELT/executive leadership.
