Job summary

CVS Health is seeking a Principal Decision Scientist within Signify Health Strategy & Innovation to lead causal inference studies and quantitative sizing that inform senior leadership decisions. You will collaborate with data professionals to standardize data, documentation, and pipelines while presenting findings to the executive team.

The role requires a strong background in healthcare analytics, extensive SQL/Python expertise, and the ability to translate complex problems into actionable

Qualifications

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Decision Science, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, or related quantitative field.
• Expert SQL and strong Python skills, with experience analyzing large datasets.
• Strong applied statistics and advanced analytics expertise, including hypothesis testing and predictive modeling.
• Demonstrated experience with causal inference and impact measurement.
• Healthcare/payer data expertise, with claims, enrollment, utilization, or similar datasets.
• Executive communication skills to translate problems into analytical approaches and influence stakeholders.
• Experience with Snowflake and/or cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Working knowledge of ETL/ELT and relational or NoSQL databases.
• Experience establishing analytics best practices and reusable assets.
• Executive presence and ability to communicate complex analysis to senior audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead deep statistical studies to prove member outcomes and provide quantitative sizing for growth opportunities.
• Collaborate across Signify's business functions to standardize data, documentation, and pipelines.
• Present analysis to ELT and executive leadership, driving credibility and influence.
• Champion analytics best practices, code reviews, and scalable data solutions.
