Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead the development, troubleshooting, and architectural guidance for the Common Real Time System (CRTS). You will shape the technical vision, ensure product quality, and drive innovations across globally distributed engineering teams.

The role demands deep expertise in Go, Java, cloud-native microservices, CI/CD, and multi-cloud deployments, with a focus on scalable, high‑impact software delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in enterprise software architecture, design and development of large-scale applications.
• 7+ years of—Go and Java—development experience.
• 5+ years in cloud-based product development, microservices, API and event-driven development.
• Proficient in SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies, with strong analytical skills.
• 4+ years experience with containerized technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Keda).
• 5+ years in AWS and multi-cloud environments (GCP, Azure).
• Strong understanding of public/private/hybrid cloud solutions and multi-tenant multi-cloud transitions.
• 4+ years experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD.
• 4+ years experience with PostgreSQL and with monitoring solutions (DataDog, Grafana).
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and evaluate cloud-based technologies for CRTS.
• Provide technical leadership by influencing design and architecture of major components.
• Produce technical documentation and design artifacts for scalability and reusability.
• Foster innovation through technical leadership and thought leadership.
• Mentor engineers on design, testing, and coding standards.
• Meet deliverables deadlines while multitasking across time zones.
• Collaborate with globally distributed teams and peer architects.
• Champion product quality and customer-centric thinking.
• Pioneer R&D to evolve the product and explore new technologies.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve production issues.
