Job summary

Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive the CRTS product through architecture, development, and mentoring across globally distributed teams. You will guide design decisions, champion quality, and work on cloud-based, microservices-driven solutions that scale for enterprise needs.

You will apply deep knowledge of Go and Java, cloud platforms, and modern DevOps practices to deliver robust technology for real-time systems and customers worldwide.

Qualifications

• 8 years of overall experience in architecture, design and development of large-scale applications.
• Bachelors degree in CS, Computer Engineering, IT, or equivalent experience.
• 7 years with Go and Java.
• 5 years with Pulsar, NATS, or similar tech.
• 5 years cloud-based product development and microservices architecture.
• 5 years SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies; developer by nature.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and evaluate cloud-based technologies against requirements and proofs of concept.
• Provide technical leadership influencing design and architecture of major components.
• Produce design artifacts ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Mentor engineers on design, test automation, and coding standards.
• Collaborate across time zones with distributed teams and architects.
• Champion product quality and customer-centric thinking; explore new tech.
