Job summary

Verint Systems, Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to lead design, development, and troubleshooting for CRTS, a strategic enterprise product, in a globally distributed team. You will guide architecture decisions, mentor engineers, and help drive a multi-cloud implementation with microservices and modern CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 8 years of overall experience in architecture, design, and development of large-scale apps.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7 years experience with Go and Java.
• 5 years experience with Pulsar, NATS, Valkey or similar tech.
• 5 years cloud-based product development and microservices.
• 5 years SDLC & Agile; developer by nature.
• 4 years container tech: Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Keda.
• 5 years AWS and other cloud providers (GCP, Azure).
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing and multi-cloud transitions.
• 4 years DevOps tools and CI/CD.
• 4 years PostgreSQL, 4 years monitoring (DataDog/Grafana).
• Experience with AI tooling in development cycles.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cloud-based technologies aligned with product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership in design and architecture of major components.
• Produce design documentation ensuring scalability and reusability.
• Mentor engineers on design, testing, and coding standards.
• Collaborate with architects across time zones in a distributed setup.
• Champion product quality and customer-centric thinking.
• Drive R&D to evolve the product and explore new technologies.
• Communicate with customers and stakeholders to resolve production issues.
• Ensure delivery deadlines are met while multitasking.
