Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to drive the CRTS product across cloud-native architectures. You will contribute to design, troubleshooting, and technical guidance for distributed development teams worldwide.

Responsibilities include leading architecture decisions, documenting artifacts, mentoring engineers, and ensuring quality while meeting tight deadlines across time zones. A strong cloud/sdLC background is essential.

Qualifications

• 8 years of overall experience in architecture, design and development of large-scale applications.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, information technology, or equivalent.
• 7 years experience with Go and Java.
• 5 years experience with Pulsar, NATS, Valkey or similar technology.
• 5 years experience in cloud-based product development, microservices architecture, API and event-driven development.
• 5 years experience with SDLC and agile/iterative methodologies.
• 4 years experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Istio, Keda.
• 5 years experience with AWS (S3, EKS, Bedrock) and other vendors (GCP, Azure).
• Excellent knowledge of cloud computing technologies and multi-cloud solutions.
• 4 years experience with DevOps tools and CI/CD processes.
• 4 years experience with PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Monitoring Solutions like DataDog, Grafana.
• Exposure to AI tools in development cycle and use of AI for development excellence.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong time management and project leadership skills.
• Positive, action-oriented and mission-driven.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and evaluate cloud-based technologies meeting product requirements.
• Provide technical leadership by influencing design and architecture of major components.
• Create documentation and design artifacts for scalable, reusable code.
