Pfizer is seeking a senior technology leader to guide AI-augmented engineering programs hybrid across the U.S. You will define strategic direction, drive architectural choices, and ensure reliable delivery while mentoring engineers and communicating with executives.

You will balance speed with verification, shape organizational practices, and lead initiative-driven transformations at scale to deliver enterprise capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field with at least 8 years of experience; or a master's degree with 7 years; or a PhD with 5+ years.
• Proven track record of presenting complex technical solutions to ELT/ELT-1 and executive audiences.
• Breadth of diverse leadership experiences including coaching, collaboration, and outcome-driven delivery.

Responsibilities

• Forward-Deployed Pod Leadership: lead engineers and product owners for rapid, high-quality ELT/ELT-1 apps.
• Delivery: establish engineering practices and act as technical authority on critical initiatives.
• People: develop leaders, shape talent strategy, build high-performing teams.
• Business: align tech strategy with business goals and communicate with executives.
• AI: design AI-augmented workflows, evaluate tools, train engineers, balance speed with verification.
• Reliability: set SLOs/SLIs, drive reliability and mentor on best practices.
• Documentation: set standards and build knowledge systems across teams.
• Process: drive efficiency, coordinate cross-functional work, run retrospectives.
• Executive Communication: present complex solutions clearly to senior leadership.
• Community & Mentorship: participate in guilds and mentorship programs.
