Job summary

Qualifications

They are looking to hire a Principal / Senior Electronic Design Engineer with experience designing various mixed signal circuits, including power supplies, analog and digital control logic, state machines, to be used with RF systems.

We're looking for strong knowledge of analog control theory and circuits (op amps, comparators, analog logic), digital control systems and interfaces (I2C, CAN) required. Experience with microprocessors, single board computers, CPLDs, FPGA is highly desirable. Previous experience with multilayer board design with mixed signal analog / digital highly desirable.

BS degree in electrical engineering or equivalent and 10+ years of applicable experience is desired.

We're also looking for experience with :

• Using simulation tools such as ADS, LTspice, Microwave Office, or other similar tools.
• Understanding of microprocessor-controlled systems
• Ability to analyze and resolve highly complex technical problems quickly and independently
• Ability to work with a team including layout engineers, mechanical engineers, process engineers, and electrical engineers
• Ability to work in a lab environment to test and verify circuit designs

Additional Requirements :

• Power supply design implementation, verification
• State machine design with analog and digital controls
• Design circuitry around various instrumentation op-amps, latch logic circuits
• Design circuitry using power controllers, RF device sequencers
• Design circuity using temperature sensors, envelope detectors
