The Anywhere UX team is a quickly growing and evolving team aiming to be a thought leader in the company. We seek a talented and experienced Principal UX Designer to join us and revolutionize real estate technology interactions. As a Principal Designer, you will lead the design of innovative software that streamlines processes for agents and brokers, driving the team to create aesthetically pleasing, functional, and profitable applications.

Responsibilities

1. Design Leadership: Lead development of design concepts aligned with company vision and market trends. Guide all design decisions, ensuring quality and innovation. Facilitate brainstorming and workshops to foster creativity.
2. Design Excellence: Manage multiple projects from start to finish, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution. Develop timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
3. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Build relationships with partners, understand their needs, and translate into compelling design solutions. Present proposals and updates to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication.
4. Mentorship: Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and feedback. Promote continuous learning and staying updated with design trends.
5. UX Research: Collaborate with UX research teams to incorporate user insights into designs. Advocate for user-centered principles, ensuring feedback influences design decisions.
6. Design Operations (DesignOps): Develop strategies to streamline workflows, select and manage design tools, and establish KPIs to measure impact and drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 10+ years of UX design experience for web and mobile, with at least 3 in leadership roles.
• Proficiency in Figma, InVision, etc.
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies.
• Experience with user research and usability testing.
• Knowledge of current UX trends and emerging technologies.
• Advocacy for accessibility.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and defend design strategies.
