Job summary

Prellis Biologics seeks a Senior / Principal Scientist to lead functional assay development for antibody discovery and characterization. This lab-based, hands-on role emphasizes cardiometabolic biology and interfaces with High-Throughput Discovery, Protein Sciences, Cell Line Development, and Data Science to scale the pipeline.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. with 3–5 years (Senior) or 5+ years (Principal) in relevant life sciences
• Hands-on experience designing cell-based functional assays from scratch
• Experience with mammalian cell lines including stable cell line generation

Responsibilities

• Design, optimize, and validate cell-based assays from concept to routine use
• Develop cardiometabolic assay strategies to inform go/no-go decisions
• Execute assays for the screening queue with consistent throughput
• Collaborate across discovery, protein sciences, cell line development and data science
• Explore throughput and miniaturization and automation for scale
• Prepare clear reports and recommendations for leadership
