Job summary

Prellis Biologics, Inc. seeks a Principal Scientist — Bioanalysis to join the Protein Sciences group.

You will develop and execute bioanalytical assays to support molecular characterization, PK/PD, and preclinical development of Prellis’s next‑generation biologic candidates, including antibody‑peptide conjugates, bispecific/multispecific antibodies, and Fc‑fusion proteins. The ideal candidate will lead assay development, enable PK/PD programs, and collaborate across DMPK, CMC, Analytical

Qualifications

Hands-on experience with bioanalytical assay development for biologics, antibodies, peptides, or proteins.
Experience with ELISA/LBA, LC-MS/MS, LC-HRMS, or related bioanalytical technologies.
Experience with mass spectrometry and ligand-binding assay platforms (e.g., Sciex Triple Quad, MSD).
Experience with PK/PD, serum/plasma bioanalysis, and preclinical studies.
Strong understanding of protein/antibody characterization and data interpretation.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize bioanalytical assays for antibody-conjugates, bispecifics, and Fc-fusion proteins.
Select format-appropriate LBA and MS approaches for discovery-derived formats.
Develop ELISA/LBA and LC-MS/HRMS-based assays for characterization and quantification of biologics.
Analyze serum/plasma samples from preclinical studies to support PK/PD and exposure assessments.
Develop assays to distinguish intact conjugates, free antibody, and degradation products.
Characterize biologic integrity and relevant molecular attributes.
Support assay qualification/validation and generate technical documentation.
Collaborate with Protein Engineering, CMC, Analytical Development, DMPK, and Pharmacology teams.
