RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a highly skilled Principal RF Sensor Responsible Engineering Authority to lead RF subsystem design and interface with suppliers on advanced missile programs. You will drive requirements, perform design analysis, and support integration and test efforts in a fast-paced, secure environment.

The role emphasizes RF hardware development, radar and sensor integration, and cross-functional leadership to deliver reliable hardware for next-generation systems.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in STEM and 8+ years of experience, or an Advanced Degree with 6+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical hardware development (RF components such as antennas or CCAs) is preferred.
• Experience working with suppliers or subcontractors to develop complex hardware.
• Experience with product ownership and interpreting engineering requirements.

Responsabilités

• Oversee supplier development of RF sensors and measurement equipment.
• Coordinate technical data reviews and hardware acceptance.
• Identify risks and mitigations for RF sensor development.
• Support lab and field testing, root-cause failure analysis for RF sensors.
• Maintain requirements documents and supplier documentation artifacts.
• Travel to supplier sites 1–2 months, as needed.
• Collaborate with leadership, suppliers, and customers.
