Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience in technical architecture
• Extensive public sector experience including federal and defense missions
• Proven experience in writing technical proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses
• Strong technical presentation skills at industry events and webinars
• Ability to build trusted government customer and partner relationships
• Comfort navigating ambiguity and driving outcomes in complex environments
• Willingness to challenge status quo and innovate

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to technical sections of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs
• Serve as a public-facing technical expert for Akamai at industry events, conferences, and webinars
• Engage with public sector customers to understand mission-critical needs
• Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams
• Represent Akamai as a thought leader on cloud security, edge computing, and web app protection
• Lead technical solution development, stitching together Akamai portfolio to meet public sector requirements
