Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in technical architecture for the public sector.
• Extensive public sector experience with federal and defense missions.
• Proven experience contributing to and writing technical proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Strong technical presentation skills and speaking at industry events and webinars.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with government customers and technology partners.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity, take ownership of challenges, and drive outcomes.
• Willingness to challenge the status quo and innovate to deliver solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to technical sections of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs.
• Serve as a public-facing technical expert for Akamai at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Engage with public sector customers, understanding their mission-critical needs.
• Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams.
• Represent Akamai as a thought leader on topics like cloud security, edge computing, and web application protection.
• Lead technical solution development, stitching together Akamai's portfolio to meet the unique requirements of public sector missions.
