Job summary

Akamai's Public Sector Team is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect to drive technical success for public sector customers, designing and delivering solutions that leverage Akamai's full portfolio for government agencies and defense missions.

You will lead the development of technical proposals, engage with customers and partners, and collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales to deliver secure, scalable cloud and edge solutions.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience in technical architecture.
• Extensive public sector experience with deep knowledge of federal and defense missions.
• Proven experience contributing to and writing technical proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Technical presentation skills with experience speaking at industry events and webinars.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to technical sections of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs.
• Serve as a public-facing technical expert for Akamai at industry events, conferences, and webinars.
• Engage with public sector customers, understanding their mission-critical needs.
• Work closely with product management, engineering, and sales teams.
• Represent Akamai as a thought leader on topics like cloud security, edge computing, and web application protection.
• Lead technical solution development, stitching together Akamai's portfolio to meet public sector requirements.
