Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Principal Enterprise Architect for the Public Sector. You will drive technical success by designing, evangelizing, and delivering solutions that leverage Akamai's portfolio for government missions.

You will lead proposals, engage with customers, and collaborate with product, engineering, and sales teams to deliver secure, scalable cloud and edge solutions. A strong background in federal missions and public sector programs is required.

Qualifications

• 15 years of relevant experience in technical architecture.
• Extensive public sector experience with federal and defense missions.
• Experience writing technical proposals, white papers, and RFP/RFI responses.
• Technical presentation skills with industry event/webinar speaking.
• Ability to build trusted relationships with government customers and partners.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive outcomes in complex environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical portions of proposals and white papers for public sector RFPs and RFIs.
• Serve as a public-facing technical expert at industry events and webinars.
• Engage with public sector customers to understand mission-critical needs.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and sales teams.
• Represent Akamai as a thought leader on cloud security, edge computing, and web application protection.
• Lead technical solution development, stitching Akamai portfolio to meet public sector requirements.
