RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer - Solid Propulsion in Tucson, AZ. This onsite role involves working in the Energetics and Propulsion Department on propulsion, thrusters, controllers, software, and interfaces for missile and space vehicle systems.

You will manage propulsion development projects, interact with customers and subcontractors, and contribute to program planning and future technology directions. Travel may be required to support suppliers and program needs.

Competenze

• Bachelor in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience; 10+ years without degree.
• Experience developing solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

• Apply advanced technologies to propulsion and missile systems integration.
• Lead development and production programs across Raytheon product lines.
• Review manufacturing processes and resolve issues with subcontractors on propulsion systems.
• Deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies.
