RTX is seeking a Principal Engineer in Solid Propulsion for an onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will lead propulsion system development, coordinate with production programs, and oversee subcontractor activities while engaging with customers and management.

Ideal candidates have a STEM degree with 8+ years of relevant experience, strong propulsion background, and the ability to obtain a U.S. security clearance. Relocation assistance available and travel may be required.

Competenze

• Bachelor in STEM with 8+ years of relevant experience; or 10+ years without a degree.
• Experience developing solid propulsion systems.
• Ability to obtain U.S. government security clearance and citizenship requirements.

Mansioni

• Apply advanced propulsion technologies to integrate missile propulsion with subsystems and vehicle interfaces.
• Oversee development and production programs across Raytheon lines; collaborate with subcontractors.
• Review manufacturing processes and resolve problems related to propulsive systems; manage subcontracts.
• Deliver technical presentations to management and government agencies; communicate program capabilities and directions.
• Travel as needed, including international travel for supplier support.
