Role Summary

We’re seeking a Principal Product Marketing Manager to lead the global go-to-market (GTM) strategy for Splunk’s Artificial Intelligence and Integrations. This role is vital for delivering customer value and expanding our business across platform, security, and observability. You will shape the future of our AI and Splunk-Cisco integrations, strengthening our leadership position and momentum.

What We’re Looking For
  • Expert Storyteller: Skilled in positioning and messaging, with a successful track record in solutions for IT professionals and leaders. Able to craft compelling narratives that resonate with technical audiences.
  • Market Insight: Deep understanding of the AI market, competitive landscape, and trends. Experienced in developing cross-portfolio messaging and conducting market research.
  • Product Launch Experience: Proven success in managing product launches, with a strategic perspective on market and marketing planning.
  • Enabling Success: Passionate about empowering sales and partner teams with clear messaging, tools, and campaigns that drive demand and customer success.

Responsibilities
  • Develop positioning and messaging for Splunk AI and Integrations targeting IT professionals and leaders.
  • Enable sales and customer-facing teams with sales plays, messaging, tools, and training to promote our solutions.
  • Drive the global GTM strategy in collaboration with product marketing teams at Splunk and Cisco.
  • Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Conduct ongoing market and persona research, engaging with customers and influencers to stay ahead of trends.
  • Work with the Competitive Intelligence team to articulate differentiation.
  • Collaborate with Technical Marketing to create demos showcasing AI and Integrations value.
  • Lead messaging, enablement, and marketing plans for product launches and events like Cisco Live and Splunk .conf.
  • Partner with product management to incorporate customer insights into roadmaps and marketing strategies.
Requirements
  • 5+ years in product marketing, management, or sales engineering at a high-growth B2B software company.
  • Proven ability to position B2B products for market growth, appealing to both technical and business decision-makers.
  • Experience in AI, software platforms, integrations, observability, or security is preferred.
  • Exceptional writing skills for diverse target audiences.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to influence executives and build consensus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Growth mindset, positive attitude, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
