Job summary

Pearson is seeking a senior product manager/strategist to guide content standards and production workflows, partnering with content leaders to deliver high-quality, AI-enabled content systems. The role sits with the content BU and requires hands-on execution, with influence over senior PMs and leaders.

You will shape taxonomy, metadata, and editorial workflows, while building capacity for AI fluency and measurable quality improvements across teams. This is a remote US role.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of product management experience in content/publishing or content platform domains.

Responsibilities

• Implement the embedded content standards spine inside real business unit work with global quality data standards and metadata accuracy.
• Redesign and shorten production workflows, removing handoffs and rework.
• Partner with content leaders through content strategy, planning, and craft, including pushback.
• Guide teams to high-quality plans and content strategy aligned to learner jobs and business outcomes, from MRDs to PRDs.
• Design and deliver training anchored in real content problems.
• Contribute to the content job family and career architecture and build a community of practice.
• Build AI fluency across the content talent base in a practical, applied way.
• Identify manual content tasks worth automating, prototype automation, prove value before scaling.
• Bring evaluation, telemetry, and human-in-the-loop design to AI-assisted content generation and quality assurance.
• Maintain a clear view on where AI helps or does not help content work.
• Role-model collaboration with product, engineering, design, and editorial.
