Job summary

Yahoo seeks a Principal Product Designer to lead design for Yahoo Everywhere (Finance). You will own the design direction across live deals, partnerships, and speculative concepts, and sign off on how Yahoo’s identity appears on partner surfaces.

You will drive concept work, deal shaping, and the integration of AI tooling throughout the process, partnering with leaders across finance, sports, and other domains to deliver high-impact experiences.

Qualifications

10+ years designing consumer-facing digital products with strategy and shipped experiences.
Experience as final design decision maker with concrete examples and rationale.
Designing for partner integrations, embedded/white-label products, OEM placements, or platform distribution.

Responsibilities

Own design across three tracks: pitch work, partner implementation after a deal closes, and blue sky concepts.
Make final calls on design direction and ensure Yahoo's identity travels on partner surfaces.
Represent design in deal conversations and influence outcomes during negotiations.
Collaborate with design leads across weather, finance, news, sports, and games.
Build prototypes and high-fidelity work in Figma, Claude, Cursor, and other AI tools.
