Job summary

Yahoo Holdings Inc. in Baltimore seeks a Principal Product Designer for Yahoo Everywhere to lead design across surfaces beyond Yahoo’s own products, partnering with the business lead and owning final design decisions.

You will shape concepts for new surfaces, manage brand identity across partner surfaces, and guide execution while driving craft and collaboration with product managers, engineers, and leaders.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in consumer-facing digital product design.
• Strong portfolio showing strategic and systems-level leadership.
• Experience as final design decision-maker with documented reasoning.
• Experience designing for surfaces you do not control (OEM, embedded, white-label).
• Concept/vision work showing moves that advanced business discussions.
• Comfort presenting to partners and executives.

Responsibilities

• Own design across three tracks: live deals, post-deal implementation, and blue-sky concepts.
• Sign off on design direction and ensure brand identity across partner surfaces.
• Represent design in deal conversations and influence outcomes.
• Produce concept work with concrete visuals for partners and executives.
• Build and guide partner playbooks for OEM, consumer platforms, and carrier deals.
• Collaborate with design leads across weather, finance, news, sports, and games.
