Job summary
Yahoo Holdings Inc. seeks a Principal Product Designer to lead Yahoo Everywhere for Finance. You’ll drive design strategy across live deals, partner implementations, and blue sky concepts, making final decisions and shaping brand identity on partner surfaces.
You will build prototypes in Figma, Claude, and Cursor, integrate AI tooling, and collaborate with product, eng, and business teams to push innovative surfaces and monetizable experiences.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience designing consumer-facing digital products.
- Experience as final design decision maker with strong portfolio.
- Experience designing for partner integrations and external surfaces.
- Strong brand judgment and craft, with system-level thinking.
- Comfort presenting to partners and executives and influencing decisions.
- Proficiency with design tools and AI-assisted design workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own design across three tracks including live deals, partner implementation, and blue sky concepts.
- Make final design calls and ensure brand identity across surfaces.
- Represent design in deal conversations and influence deal shaping.
- Produce concept work and prototypes for partner feedback.
- Set team calibration for fidelity and hand off execution.
- Shape partner-type playbooks for OEM, consumer platform, and carrier deals.
- Collaborate with design leads for weather, finance, news, sports, and games.
- Develop prototypes in Figma, Claude, and Cursor with AI tooling.
