Own end-to-end product design for agentic chat experiences in GTM One at ZoomInfo, from behavior and trust to costs, proof-before-launch, and shipping in code.
Responsibilities
- Lead the agent experience across universal chat, including how the agent communicates status, requests input, and reports progress on long-running work.
- Design interaction patterns that let agents create artifacts, apps, and automations built on context, including how those outputs appear to the customer.
- Build cost estimation and credit-approval moments into chat so customers understand what an agent action costs before and after it runs.
- Use evals as a design instrument: apply evaluation results to confirm readiness before launch and decide what to change after real users engage.
- Define trust mechanics for calibrating confidence in agent output, including how failures, uncertainty, and partial results are surfaced.
- Prototype in code: open pull requests and ship working proposals alongside engineering.
- Partner with product management and engineering on orchestration and tool infrastructure while owning the customer-facing experience.
- Define problems alongside solutions, using thin briefs and operating as a product thinker across the scope you own.
Requirements
- At least 2 years designing AI or agentic products where model behavior was the product itself (not AI features layered onto a conventional surface), with the ability to discuss what went wrong in front of real users.
- Experience running evals: built or used evaluation setups for an agent, including how you determined readiness before launch and what changed after real users used it.
- Proven shipping in code: prototype with AI coding tools (not only in Figma), open pull requests, and read a backend contract even if you are not an engineer by title.
- Working understanding of LLM behavior in production: latency, streaming, tool calling, confidence, and failure modes, with design that addresses these realities rather than only the happy path.
- Experience collaborating directly with engineering in their channels and on their timelines as a core part of shipping.
Technologies
Preferred
- Domain depth designing for sellers, marketers, RevOps, or CS within a CRM, sales-engagement, data, or revenue-intelligence product.
- Experience navigating enterprise complexity, data-dense interfaces, bulk operations, or long-running jobs while maintaining end-user clarity.
- Experience designing for products where usage directly costs the customer money.
- Comfort blending UX research with agentic design, using research to predict and evals to confirm.
How We Evaluate
- Assessed across four axes: context engineering and agentic systems (including eval experience); blend of UX research and agentic design; aesthetic quality and experience craft; and engineering fundamentals.
- Interviews include:
- Walking through a real agent-surface decision, including an argument you lost.
- An eval you ran and what it changed.
- A live conversation about a go-to-market workflow.
- A working session on an open problem.
- A look at your own tooling.
- No spec work, no unpaid take-home, and no design challenge we would not actually ship.
