Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Process Engineer – Level 3 in Clearfield, UT. This role partners with design, production and cross-functional teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve safety, quality, cost and efficiency.

You will analyze data, implement tooling, maintain documentation and present technical solutions to leadership and review boards. The position supports a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and offers competitive salary with potential bonuses and a broad

Qualifications

• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work with minimal direction.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with aerospace specifications and drawings, both hard copy and model based.
• Experience with insulation & composite processes is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Maintain MBOM and detailed work instructions for products.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities; help resolve processing issues.
• Evaluate and aid in disposition of discrepant hardware.
• Troubleshoot processes to improve safety, quality, cost, efficiency.
• Analyze processing data to identify trends and drive corrective actions.
• Perform CA/SA activities to eliminate defects.
• Work with concurrent engineering to create Build-to-Packages and docs.
• Prepare and present technical materials to leadership and customers.
