The role partners with design engineering and production to resolve issues, improve safety, quality, cost, and efficiency, and present solutions to leadership and customers.

The position follows a 9/80 schedule. Ideal candidates bring extensive engineering experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 12 years with Bachelor’s in Science; 10 years with Masters; 8 years with PhD.
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem solving and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

Responsibilities

• Developing and improving manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions for products/processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on design and manufacturability issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities and resolve processing issues.
• Maintain manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
• Use SPC tools to ensure process control.
• Troubleshoot production/tooling/facility issues and implement improvements.
