Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Process Engineer – Level 2 to join our team in Clearfield, UT. You will partner with design engineering and production to resolve manufacturing issues, optimize safety, quality, cost, and efficiency, and present technical solutions to leadership and customers.

The role involves developing and maintaining processes, MBOMs, and detailed work instructions, while using SPC to ensure process control. A 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off is included.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Science required; 2 years' experience for degree holders, or 0 years with a Master's.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and improve manufacturing processes.
• Create and maintain detailed work instructions for products and processes.
• Coordinate with Design Engineering on manufacturability issues.
• Coordinate with production on day-to-day activities and resolve processing issues.
• Analyze processing data to identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain manufacturing bill of materials (MBOM).
• Perform root cause and corrective action activities to eliminate defects.
