Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of high‑voltage design practices and engineering processes.
• Expert-level power electronics design expertise.
• Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC SMPS topologies.
• EMI/EMC design, analysis, and mitigation experience.
• Magnetic component design and optimization.
• Power component selection (MOSFETs, GaN FETs, drivers).
• Control theory and Kalman filtering basics.
• Discrete analog/digital circuit design.
• Embedded systems design using microcontrollers or FPGA.
• PCB layout and noise mitigation techniques.
• Proficiency with simulation tools (PSIM, SIMPLIS, PLECS).

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze systems, products, subsystems to specification, cost, schedule, and quality goals.
• Diagnose issues across design, field performance, reliability and test yields; implement corrective actions.
• Own product/system success in customer applications; drive corrective actions as needed.
• Follow Product Development Process and ECO processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing locations and supply chain to implement cost reductions, manufacturability improvements, and quality enhancements for existing products.
