Advanced Energy is seeking a Principal Electrical Engineer to lead design, development, testing, and delivery of innovative power products. You will work with customers to translate requirements into impactful solutions, shaping the future of our technology and guiding engineers and technicians.

The role combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver mission-critical programs across global teams.

Qualifications

B.S. in Electrical or Computer Engineering or related field.
Expert-level knowledge in high-voltage design and power electronics.
Experience with AC/DC and DC/DC SMPS design and EMI/EMC.
Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Design and analyze systems, products, and subsystems to specification, cost, and quality goals.
Diagnose issues across design, field performance, reliability, and test yields; implement corrective actions.
Ensure success of product/system in customer applications with leadership in problem solving.
Follow Product Development Process and ECO procedures.
