Job summary

G2 seeks a Principal Product Manager to lead Data Solutions APIs, MCP, and partner integrations. You will translate business use cases into technical builds, prototype APIs, and ship targeted code when it accelerates delivery while engineering maintains architecture and reliability.

You will own the roadmap to grow Data Solutions revenue, expand MCP adoption, widen MCP surface area with partners, and migrate legacy integrations with clear ownership and customer communication.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in technical B2B products, platforms, APIs, data products, or integration ecosystems.
• Strong fluency in APIs, authentication, real-time and batch data delivery, integration architecture, developer workflows, and MCP.
• Ability to read, write code well enough to prototype integrations and ship targeted changes when appropriate.

Responsibilities

• Own the ecosystem strategy and product architecture for exposing G2 data through APIs, MCP, and developer surfaces.
• Lead the integration hub service, developer portal, and public-facing surfaces for customers and partners, including portfolio health and migration.
• Define reusable platform capabilities to be used across customers, partners, and use cases.
• Identify partners to expand MCP surface area and decide use case placement in MCP, API, or custom integrations.
• Prioritize investments using customer evidence, revenue opportunity, partner readiness, and technical leverage.
