Job summary

Glean, the Work AI platform, is seeking a PM to own API, SDK, and MCP strategy for developers in customers and partners. The ideal candidate is deeply technical and has a track record shipping robust APIs and SDKs for external developers.

You will design and evolve public APIs/SDKs, specify the developer experience end to end, write samples, and ensure documentation and integrations meet high standards. Collaboration with premier B2B teams is essential.

Qualifications

5+ years of product management experience, ideally in platform, developer experience, API, SDK, or partnership-driven products.
Deep technical comfort with API contracts, payloads, logs, telemetry, and engineering tradeoffs.

Responsibilities

Own the design and evolution of public APIs and SDKs, including versioning and deprecation.
Spec the developer experience end to end: auth, onboarding, first call, error handling, rate limiting, webhooks.
Write code, build sample apps, run integrations, and test before customers do.
Read and improve docs by testing from a developer perspective.
Analyze support tickets and forum threads to identify recurring design defects.
Define and defend metrics that matter: time-to-first-call, integration success rate, API error rates.
Lock API contracts and requirements before engineering starts; prevent scope creep.
