Job summary

Arcadia seeks a platform engineer to own and evolve our internal platform, spanning Kubernetes, cloud resources, and IaC. You will drive reliability through SLOs, observability, and cost controls while delivering self‑service capabilities for engineering teams.

You’ll collaborate with senior engineers, own roadmap governance, and help teams move faster with fewer tickets. This remote‑first role supports US hubs and promotes strong security practices.

Qualifications

• Experience in platform engineering and building internal products.
• Strong knowledge of cloud, Kubernetes, networking and IaC.
• Experience with reliability practices like SLOs and observability.

Responsibilities

• Push quality attributes into the platform, including tests and rollback.
• Run platform as a curated internal product and publish roadmaps.
• Build self‑service APIs, templates, and golden paths for CI/CD and observability.
• Manage migrations, automate handoffs, and sunset outdated work.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and guide platform direction with senior engineers.
• Coach Senior Engineers through design reviews and partnerships.
