Job summary

Arcadia is building a scalable, self-service platform on a petabyte-size lakehouse, centered on Kubernetes and cloud-native tooling. You will drive platform engineering, API design, and automated pipelines that empower engineering teams to move faster with reliable, observable systems.

You will own internal product quality, orchestrate migrations, and mentor Senior Engineers while advancing security, velocity, and reliability across the company.

Qualifications

• Experience building platform components that scale.
• Hands-on production coding and pragmatism.
• Security-conscious design and HIPAA/SOC2 awareness are a plus.
• Ability to coach senior engineers through design reviews.

Responsibilities

• Push quality attributes into the platform and enable self-service capabilities.
• Run the platform as a curated internal product and measure adoption.
• Build self-service APIs, templates, and golden paths for CI/CD and observability.
• Carry migration costs and sunset legacy platforms responsibly.
• Manage stakeholders and communicate cost visibility across teams.
• Set technical direction and mentor Senior Engineers through reviews.
