Principal Office and Administrative Specialist
Position Information
The person in this position will serve as the UROC receptionist and provide clerical support to the UROC executive director and leadership team. The role includes greeting visitors, managing schedules, processing documents, and supervising interns and support staff. The position is union-represented (AFSCME Unit 6) with a starting hourly rate of $21.69.
Required: High school diploma/GED, at least 2 years of office experience, drafting correspondence, managing schedules, dealing professionally with the public. Experience with keyboarding, data entry, and electronic calendars.
Preferred: Experience with community organizations or higher education, urban community work, multi-project office environment, creating spreadsheets/databases, working with diverse communities, strong organizational and communication skills, bilingual abilities, teamwork, and supporting committees.
