RTX is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer - Modeling Simulation & Analysis Engineers for an Onsite role in Tucson, AZ. You will build high fidelity simulations for missile design and performance assessment, collaborating across GNC, Signal Processing, and other teams. Eligible for DoD clearance and a U.S.

Qualifications

• Requires degree in Engineering, Science, Physics, Mathematics or related STEM field with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with object-oriented C/C++ programming.
• Proficiency in Python or MATLAB for data evaluation.
• Experience modeling and simulating physical systems.
• Ability to obtain Interim Secret U.S. clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Create high-fidelity simulations and models for missile design and flight test support.
• Develop and implement modeling solutions; conduct trade studies of system performance.
• Collaborate with GNC, Signal Processing, and other performance personnel.
• Guide teammates; provide development direction across the lifecycle.
• Prepare detailed plans and interact with government counterparts as needed.
• Support program schedule with timely simulation activities.
