Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the SDS Support and Training Equipment team. The role involves coordinating with suppliers, reviewing designs, and integrating with NG teams to ensure requirements are met.

The 9/80 schedule can provide extended time off an every other Friday. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering and 2+ years (or 5+ for level 3) of experience, US citizenship, and ability to obtain Secret clearance and SAP access.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen, ability to obtain Secret clearance.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP.
• Experience with CAD modeling using Siemens NX or similar.
• Experience on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace/Defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with suppliers and review designs.
• Integrate with NG product teams to ensure requirements are met.
• Participate in design reviews and develop mechanical products and solutions.
• Research, plan, design, and develop mechanical systems and components.
