Job summary

Northrop Grumman Corp. is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the SDS Support and Training (S&T) Support Equipment team in Roy, Utah. You will coordinate with suppliers, review designs, and integrate with NG teams to ensure adherence to requirements.

The role involves CAD modeling, design development, and participation in design reviews. The position offers a typical 9/80 schedule and may be filled at Engineer (level 2) or Principal Engineer (level 3) depending on experience. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• Minimum of 2 years (level 2) or 5 years (level 3) of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen
• Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Secret clearance
• Must have the ability to obtain a SAP clearance
• Experience performing CAD modeling with Siemens NX or similar
• Experience performing mechanical design efforts on MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace and Defense programs.
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite of tools - Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements
