Job summary

Northrop Grumman seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the SDS Support and Training (S&T) equipment team. You will coordinate with suppliers, review designs, and integrate with NG product teams to ensure adherence to requirements and to develop mechanical products and solutions.

The role offers a 9/80 schedule and potential for Engineer 2 or Principal Engineer 3 based on experience. US citizenship and Secret/SAP clearances are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related STEM field.
• 2+ years (level 2) or 5+ years (level 3) of relevant experience.
• U.S. citizen.
• Ability to obtain/maintain Secret clearance and SAP clearance.
• Experience CAD modeling with Siemens NX or similar.
• Experience with MILCON, major infrastructure/building projects, or Aerospace/Defense.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
• Ability to understand and interpret requirements.

• Participate in design reviews and develop mechanical products/solutions.
