The Atlantic District in Alexandria is seeking a Principal Insurance Agent to grow our local client base and provide clear, reliable guidance. You will analyze risk profiles, tailor coverage, and maintain strong relationships with policyholders while working with underwriting partners.

Qualified candidates hold a Virginia P&C license, have 5+ years in personal lines or commercial insurance sales, and demonstrate a proven track record in expanding an active book of business.

Qualifications

• Virginia Property & Casualty Insurance License is required.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in personal lines or commercial insurance sales.
• Proven track record of growing an active book of business.
• Proficiency with agency management systems and digital document processing.
• Strong understanding of the Alexandria and Northern Virginia insurance market.
• Excellent problem-solving and regulatory detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to grow our local client base in Alexandria.
• Analyze potential clients' risk profiles to recommend the most effective insurance solutions.
• Manage existing accounts by conducting annual reviews and identifying coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with underwriting partners to secure the best terms for policyholders.
