Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in water resources or environmental engineering (required).
• Professional licensure (P.E.) (required).
• Advanced degrees (preferred).
• 10+ years of direct engineering consulting experience in dams and levees.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to grow a hydraulic engineering practice within the Dams and Levees high-growth area.
• Coordinate resources across the network of hydraulic/hydrologic engineers for dam/levee projects nationwide.
• Lead hydraulic analyses (1‑D/2‑D/3‑D) and serving as technical advisor on modeling projects.
• Design rehabilitation of spillways, outlets, and other dam hydraulics.
• Perform flood hazard assessments and dam breach analyses; apply probabilistic risk assessment.
• Be SME on H&H in risk assessment and Independent Technical Review boards.
• Inspect hydraulic structures and review prior analyses against current standards.
• Engage with clients and lead scoping, execution, budgeting, and delivery of projects.
• Participate in business development, staff mentoring, and conference presentations.
