Job summary
Nordic Semiconductor is seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer to join our Product Engineering team in Boston and lead the nRF Cloud platform for IoT device monitoring, debugging, and updates.
You will own end-to-end initiatives, drive architecture, mentor engineers, and collaborate with product and design. Expect to work across React/TypeScript frontends, Python backends, cloud infrastructure, and data systems to scale our platform.
Qualifications
- 8+ years building and shipping web applications in production at staff or principal level.
- Deep expertise in React/TypeScript frontends, Python backends, database tooling, and cloud infra (AWS).
- Experience guiding technical direction beyond own team via architecture decisions and RFCs.
- Strong observability, incident response, and postmortems throughout production systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end initiatives from discovery through architecture, execution and production.
- Own problems, partner with product/design, and shape roadmaps with technical insight.
- Mentor engineers and elevate developer experience across frontend, backend, and cloud.
- Design and implement scalable systems across React/TypeScript frontend, Python backend, and data infra.
